What is Pedorthics?
Pedorthics focuses on addressing painful or problematic conditions of the foot, ankle, and lower limbs through the use of custom orthotics and specialized footwear. While traditional Pedorthists often work behind the scenes—fabricating orthotics without direct patient interaction—Foot Rx Running takes a more integrated approach.

We combine expert Pedorthic care with personalized consultations, foot strengthening exercises, and functional training. This hands-on, holistic method supports recovery, enhances mobility, and promotes long-term foot health.

Our Certified Pedorthists are here to support your foot health with personalized care.
During your appointment, they will assess your feet, gait, and current footwear to gain a clear understanding of your unique needs. Based on their findings, they’ll provide a thorough explanation and offer tailored recommendations to help you choose footwear that supports long-term foot health. If necessary, custom orthotics will be crafted in our on-site lab.

To ensure the best possible outcome, our team will also collaborate with your other healthcare providers. Our goal is to provide a sustainable solution that promotes recovery and strength—helping reduce long-term dependence on orthotics.

Your Comfort and Feedback Matter
When custom orthotics are part of your treatment plan, your input is vital. We invite you to share how the orthotics feel during your appointment so that our Pedorthists can make precise adjustments to ensure optimal comfort and effectiveness. Your feedback helps us create the best possible fit for your needs. If after your appointment you are having any issues with your orthotics, please schedule a follow up appointment for any adjustments that may be needed.

  • Joe Quinlan is a master at his craft and I highly recommend him. I have had problems with flat, painful feet my whole life. I had given up on treatment because everything recommended to me either made things worse, or did nothing for me. Joe was able to diagnose my problem after a 90 minute consultation and give me a solution that went to the core of the problem. He was able to give me an explanation about why past treatment has not worked for me. He did this before I even mentioned my previous attempts at treatment and my frustrations with it. Joe really understands foot physiology and anatomy and is a great teacher. Thank you!

  • I recently booked an apt for a foot eval with Scott at Foot Rx. I had tried everything to resolve my foot pain( metatarsalgia), and nothing worked. I suffered for 5 months.Now, after an eval, and follow up apt with Scott, In 10 days , I am totally pain free! He educated me, got me in the right shoes, adjusted my shoe liners and taught me with great detail exercises for my foot. It is a miracle to be pain free in such a short time. This man is a very caring, very informed foot guru. Go get an apt with him and your feet will thank you. He is amazing!

And a special shout out to Thad he was extremely helpful and knowledgeable you can tell the whole staff loved being there. They were very welcoming. I have been on a barefoot journey for a while now but Thad was able to get my dad and his gf into new healthier pairs of shoes!   • HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend if you are looking for a place to try a wide selection of barefoot shoes. Two years ago they only carried a few items, now (Nov 2023) they have a variety of Lems, more range from Xero, Earthrunners, and European brands like Vivo, Bohempia, BeLenka, and Freet. And they have kids too! LOVED going there to try on different brands and get clarity on what would really work for my wide feet (10.5cm). Loved that they carry brands for wide feet (like Bohempia). AMAZING customer service, well-informed staff, easy return policy. They are planning on adding casual - dressy barefoot to their offerings!
