MORE ABOUT JOE:

I came to strength training through trail running. As much as I loved long days in the mountains, I realized that running alone wasn’t enough to build and maintain muscle as I got older. I needed more strength—not just for performance, but for longevity.

Kettlebells changed everything. The results I saw and felt inspired me to pursue a certification so I could help others discover the same benefits.

But like many athletes, I fell into the trap of constantly feeling like I needed to lift heavier. Over time, I realized that more weight didn’t always mean more progress—especially for endurance athletes. That turning point led me into the world of unconventional training.

Today, my approach focuses on building functional, integrated strength. It’s not just about lifting more—it’s about moving better. Through rotational movement, core integration, and full-body training, I help people develop strength that supports the way we run, walk, and live—at every age.

This work has brought me full circle, back to where I began: the feet. True strength starts from the ground up, and it’s all connected.
